Now that I'm working on my third self-published book, I've decided to set up a website and a blog for those who want to learn more about my projects. I understand that it is a major time commitment to read a book, even reasonably short books such as mine. Every minute you spend reading is one less minute for watching Netflix or taking personality quizzes on Facebook. My books are not suitable for everyone, and I owe you as much information as possible before you burden yourself with one of them.
One of the goals of my writing is to cover topics that no one else has adequately explored. Presidential libraries and museums are an entire world that is ripe for parody. Where are all the humor books about them? The same could be said about the papacy. Which other losing papal candidates have written memoirs excoriating the flawed election process? While writing is not something I particularly relish, I feel the need to tell my stories because they fill in the gaps that are left by the mainstream publishing houses. I'm not trying to deliver a best-seller, but I want each book to offer an entertaining new spin on a topic that otherwise doesn't get much attention.
I greatly appreciate those who have read and (in a few cases) reviewed my first two books. Stay tuned for number three.
